My eyebrows are naturally thick(not as in wide but as in full; opposite of sparse haha) & dark & I was thinking that if I thinned them down, I could fill them in with a light colored brow powder. I’m just wondering how I would thin them down.

An easy way to do that is simply by using your tweezers & plucking not around but inside the eyebrows, that way it will not be thin but just less full of hair & obviously lighter.

To lighten the brows you can apply peroxide few times. To make them thinner, obviously you need to remove the hair any way that is your preference like wax, tweezers or other method.

Unless you’re really careful with the powder, it will probably smudge & leave other marks during the day.
My best suggestion is to go to a salon, & spend the money the first time to get them professionally groomed & shaped. Before you mess with bleaching them, get them done by a pro & see if you’re not happy with that result, first. If they’re thick & bushy, it’s hard to tell where the shape should go & how to groom them to suit the shape of your face. If you let someone who is objective (like a pro) have a turn at them, I’ll bet that you’ll be happier without needing to have them lightened.
If lightening them is still needed, don’t worry about the process. The cream bleaches are very mild, & it only takes about 5 minutes for the lightening to be visible. You still might need to leave it on for a few more minutes, but it’s over before you know it, & the results last for weeks. I highly suggest having a pro do the bleaching the first time, so you’ll be more comfortable with the whole process & you’ll get a better feel for how to do it. Going at it alone … naaa, just save a few dollars & get some guidence.

Easy – first get them waxed to their ideal shape. then buy a brown eyeliner pencil. Line it throughout your brow hairs. This way you get a simple & convenient way to change or lighten the color.
